Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit

Set up direct deposit ahead of time to get your refund quickly, smoothly and avoid delays.

  • Refund processing occurs on weeknights.
  • The money will be available in your bank account in 2–3 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Setting up direct deposit allows funds to be deposited into your account only. Funds are not withdrawn from your account to pay your bill as a result of this authorization.
  • Parent PLUS loan refunds to parent borrowers are not eligible for direct deposit.
  • This direct deposit is not the same as your payroll direct deposit. If you get a paycheck from CU, you'll need to do both in Buff Portal.
