Threat Assessment Program

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ has a strong interest in protecting students, employees and others from harm to themselves or others. In support of that interest, CU-Boulder has adopted a Campus Violence Policy and has developed two threat assessment protocols, one which focuses primarily on students and one which focuses primarily on employees, including faculty, classified staff and university staff employees.

Students of Concern

SOCTÌýis a campus resource dedicated to assisting students who may be in distress or experiencing challenging or difficult life circumstances. The SOCT also provides consultation and intervention when students exhibit aggressive, concerning or disruptive behaviors. The primary focus of the team is to take a proactive approach in identifying students who are struggling and provide early intervention, resources, and referrals, both on campus and in the community.
