The College of Arts and Sciences has two representative bodies and two advisory committees that work with the administration to advance the strategic goals of the college.

  • The Arts and Sciences Faculty Senate听consists of members of the faculty who serve on a wide range of committees. It is the听primary representative body for the faculty of the college.
  • The Staff Advisory Committee aims to address issues of importance to and advocate for arts and sciences staff; to give timely feedback on such issues and make recommendations to the dean; to facilitate communication within the college; and to build community among arts and sciences staff and faculty.
  • The A&S Dean's Advisory Board听is a group of alumni responsible for advising the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • The A&S Student Advisory Board听represents A&S undergraduate concerns and听to the College of Arts and Sciences' dean鈥檚 office.听Members meet twice per month and provide A&S leadership with insights into students' experiences, communications, engagement opportunities, alumni relations and more.
