Responsibilities

Business Consultation

  • Strategic partner to the A&S Associate Dean for Student Success and the Student Success portfolio including the Assistant Dean of Academic Advising & Student Success, the Assistant Dean of Academic & Curricular Affairs, the Director of Student Recruitment, the Executive Director of the A&S Residential Academic Programs, and the individual A&S Residential Academic Programs
  • Advise, counsel & assist with operations, policies, procedures, rules, statutes and strategic plans
  • Influence University policy compliance
  • Optimize business processes in an effort to contribute to the University, the College of Arts and Sciences & Student Success missions

Financial Management

  • Administration & management of budget functions for the Student Success portfolio
  • Review & analyze financial reports to ensure alignment of budget and expenditures
  • Provide oversight of future spending demands
  • Inform leadership of current and projected financial standing
  • Maintain a professional development policy for the Student Success portfolio professional staff

Personnel Management

  • Guide recruitment and hiring process for professional staff
  • Coordinate hiring process for Student Success faculty
