As many of you know, there have听been serious reductions in general funding to the University by the State of Colorado.听听

It is remarkable, and a testament to our faculty that we are able to provide the听outstanding education we do while still maintaining a highly competitive research program.

Indeed,听in recent rankings by the National Research Council we are considered to be one of the premier applied math units in the US.听

For us to maintain the quality of our academic program, we must redouble our efforts at private fundraising. If you are willing and able to support us to any extent we would be extremely pleased. 听
