Buoy-Enabled Analysis of Currents via Aerial Navigation (BEACAN)
BEACAN will design, build, and test a miniaturized ocean drifter. The drifter shall be capable of collecting positional coordinates and transmitting coordinates to a communications satellite. Secondary, the team will develop a drifter deployment mechanism.
