Autonomous Rover for Ground-based Optical Surveillance (ARGOS)
Description: The need for better tools to aid firefighters, especially in wildfire prone environments, is increasing every year. The purpose of the Autonomous Rover for Ground-based Optical Surveillance (ARGOS) system is to gather data from a fire line (a trench designed to halt the spread of a fire) and send said data to a ground station and a mother rover.
