Academic Plan & Requirements

To earn the certificate in business leadership, students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours. Students take three core courses; one ethics or diversity course outside of Leeds; one leadership or ethics course; and must complete experiential requirements. 

All certificate students are provided with a leadership coach if they choose to use one to help them build their leadership skills during the leadership impact project.

  • Business Ethics and Social Responsibility
  • Critical Leadership Skills

Experiential learning requirements: 

Students must complete a leadership retreat and an impact project to fulfill their experiential learning requirement.
