Grow red sunflowers with and learn about their ties to CU Boulder history and unique collections within University Libraries archives.  One Seed is a community engagement program from CU’s Libraries that began in 2022. The program invites the CU campus community to grow red sunflowers because of their ties to campus history - the flowers were originally cultivated by a CU Boulder professor and his wife in 1910.  The Libraries’ archives contain a unique collection related to the sunflowers, including a bloom from the original red sunflower.
