Hello! My name is Dan Thompson and I fill the Industry Outreach role for ASME. I am a senior at CU and am seeking my degree in mechanical engineering. I hail from the northwest suburbs of Chicago and moved to Colorado in 2011. I love the manufacturing and design process and will be seeking a position in those fields upon graduation. I am also the CAD/Testing engineer for the SAE Baja team here at CU. When not doing school work, I can generally be found riding my bicycle (never as quickly as I’d like!), climbing old rocks, dancing poorly at a music venue, or flying internet spaceships.
