Mobile Food Pantry - November 14 Eryn Van Poole Tue, 10/08/2024 - 10:25

The next mobile food pantry is on Thursday, November 14th and is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty and staff, and community members of Boulder and Broomfield counties. Attendees will receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed to registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Where: St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 2435 Colorado Ave
When: Wednesday, November 14th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Registration is required. Sign-Up to Volunteer.

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative aims to align and optimize resources across the �鶹��Ƶ campus that support innovation and entrepreneurship—in an inclusive, multidisciplinary understanding—to reach across traditional silos, facilitate collaboration, fuel achievement, and build the university’s reputation.

Calling innovators from all disciplines: leverage your problem-solving skills and expand your ideas at Idea Builder! Expert mentors will be on hand to offer guidance and support in a fun, safe-to-fail environment. Open to all CU Boulder students, faculty and staff. Pizza will be served.

As the campus community celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day at CU Boulder, together we will learn more about the legacies of Native and Indigenous social and environmental justice and civil rights movements; explore the interconnectedness of these and other social justice and civil rights movements; identify practical strategies for reciprocity, recovery and culturally responsible allyship with Native and Indigenous humans and organizations; and work in collaboration to address and advocate for justice while centering land back, language back, and bison back. This year’s theme is “Reciprocity, Relevance, Recovery and Reclamation,” and all events are free and open to students, staff, faculty and Boulder community members.

In an effort to make the day enjoyable for employees and their kids of all ages, we are seeking your collaboration! We would like to organize a list of activities offered throughout the day for our employees. We are also planning an end-of-day celebration in the afternoon. Please let us know if your unit would like to participate by providing activities, tours, admission, etc., or if you would like a table at the afternoon event. We realize there is a decent amount of time before this event and hope that getting the word out early will help units plan a way to be involved and make it a great day! Submissions are due by April 1st. Thank you!
