Dear Strategic Resources and Support team,
I am writing this month with a message of care and resources for navigating change and difficult conversations.
Why it matters
We are in an exciting period of transition with a new chancellor who is bringing a new vision and new ideas for how we deliver on our mission. New students on our campus are navigating the significant change of being away from home for the first time. At the same time, conflicts around the world continue to weigh on members of our community. And we’re entering the run-up to what is sure to be a contentious election.Ìý
The ways we process and work through change and engage in difficult conversations can have a profound effect on our impact on others. As a community based in learning, we can look both inward and outward for strategies to thrive. I hope you will explore some of them and share others with your colleagues.
