*Please note: If the course isn't offered in Spring 2026, you may be eligible to request it for Fall 2026 instead. If it's offered next fall, submit a course reservation form during that semester's course reservation period.

Your Next Steps

If you meet all the requirements and want to reserve a seat in this course for Spring 2026:

Use CU Boulder Class Search to identify your preferred Spring 2026 class section.
Submit an online course reservation form by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.

We will confirm your eligibility, register you for your requested class, and send you a confirmation email.

The deadline to submit a completed course reservation form is 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Late or incomplete submissions will not be honored.

Fall 2025 degrees are conferred. The university commencement ceremony occurs in May and fall graduates are invited to participate. Many colleges, schools, departments and programs also hold winter recognition ceremonies in December.

Undergrads may purchase undergraduate regalia from the CU Book Store in-store during store hours or online at any time.

We noticed that you've exhausted your allotted 145 lifetime hours of COF funding toward your degree. On your behalf, we've granted you an institutional waiver that allows your COF funding to continue through Summer 2026.

You don't need to take any additional action at this time. This semester's COF hours will be applied to your bill within 48 to 72 hours.

To Apply for Additional COF Hours

If you'll need COF hours beyond Summer 2026, you may submit a Colorado Commission on Higher Education waiver request.

To Postpone This Extension

To postpone this COF lifetime limit extension until your next semester of enrollment, email the COF support team by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025.

Please be aware that if you postpone the extension, you'll be responsible for paying the portion of this semester's tuition typically covered by COF funds.

If you fail to do so, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) may impose a financial penalty of $50 (26 CFR 1.6050S-1(e)).

You may have reported your SSN to HR, however, our systems do not currently communicate and you will need to report it to the Office of the Registrar as well to fulfill this requirement.

Privacy

CU Boulder protects the confidentiality of personally identifiable information and will not disclose an SSN or TIN for any purpose not permitted by law or policy (including FERPA) without your consent.

*Federal Requirement

Section 6109 of the Internal Revenue Code requires you to provide your correct SSN or TIN so CU Boulder can file Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement) with the IRS and provide a statement to you.
