CEDARS

Center for Electrochemical Dynamics and Reactions on Surfaces

The mission of CEDARS is to reveal the formation of the transient intermediates of oxygen evolution reactions and hydrogen evolution reactions, how the catalyst evolves before, during, and after the reaction. These detailed studies have significant implications in better understanding how hydrogen can be efficiently produced from water.

CEDARS, whcih is headquartered at North Carolina A&T State University brings together 12 research groups from 7 different institutions.
