CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Leaf Van Boven (Social) and graduate student Dani Grant (Social) were in the news, being interviewed for CU Boulder Today about some research published recently in the journal PLOS ONE. Their research on political attitudes after the 2020 presidential election showed that as Democrats became more confident in the outcome in the days after the election as the votes were re-counted and certified, Republicans became less confident. Moreover, their research showed that the more likely it was that a survey respondent used Fox News as their only media source, the less confidence in the election they had. If they consumed any of 14 other media sources the investigators mentioned this lack of confidence was reduced. Read the CU Boulder Today article, and/or the original .
