CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor and Executive Director of the Intermountain Neuroimaging Center (INC) Marie Banich (Cognitive) was in the news, being interviewed in CU Boulder Today about a recently published article in Nature Communications on how to stop thinking about a particular concept or idea. The research, conducted in collaboration with researchers at the University of Texas - Austin, used brain imaging techniques to study different approaches to trying to get rid of various concept or ideas that they had been told to think about.
