CU Psychology and Neuroscience graduate student Evan Winiger (Behavioral Genetics, mentored by John Hewitt) was in the news with an article about some recent research appearing in both CU Boulder Today and the Denver Post. The research, published in the journal Sleep, suggests that teenagers who smoke a lot of marijuana  develop sleep disturbances as adults.
