Several CU Psychology and Neuroscience faculty received CU Boulder Outreach Awards from the Office of Outreach and Engagement. Research Associate聽Nomita Chhabildas and Professor聽Erik Willcutt聽(Behavior Genetics and Clinical)聽received an award for the Attention, Behavior, and Learning Clinic to help fund affordable childhood聽evaluations.聽Professor Eliana Colunga (Cognitive) received an award to develop a parent-based early education program. She also received an interdisciplinary award with some other faculty on campus to promote computer coding among underrepresented youth. Associate Clinical聽Professor聽Emily Richardson聽(Clinical) received an award for the Brain Behavior Clinic to help fund evaluations of homeless people in Boulder County in conjunction with the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless. Finally, Senior Research Associate聽Alisha Brosse聽(CU Boulder Clinical PhD, not pictured) received an award聽to help fund the activities of the聽Sutherland Bipolar Center, a center that is housed in Muenzinger and聽provides low-cost evaluation and treatment services to people with bipolar disorders.
