CU Psychology and Neuroscience undergraduates Cory Wong and Izzy Greenhut, both neuroscience majors, were chosen to receive McCray Scholarships for the Spring 2019 semester. These competitive awards are given to academically strong undergraduate students with demonstrated leadership ability, with preference given to students pursuing a career in science education. Cory is a senior and the President of Nu Rho Psi, the National Honor Society in Neuroscience, among many other community-good pursuits. Izzy is a sophomore who also majors in mathematics, and similarly has many outside pursuits, including being accepted into the Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program. This program aims to address the need for excellent high school and middle school teachers in STEM disciplines. Read more about the McCray Scholarhip program.
