CU Psychology and Neuroscience postdoctoral researcher Sarah Banchefsky (Social) was in the news for receiving a Chancellor's Award for Excellence in STEM Education — Faculty/Staff Award. She will receive a small stipend to fund her proposal entitled, “I Look Like An Engineer: Improving Student Outcomes by Reducing STEM Stereotypes,” and present the results of the research at the campus-wide symposium on STEM education in September.
