CU Psychology and Neuroscience graduate students Ashley Smith Watts (Clinical, mentored by Soo Rhee) and Rachel Thayer (Clinical, mentored by Kent Hutchison) both received some popular press, with articles about their research appearing in the latest issue of Colorado Arts & Sciences Magazine. Smith Watts's research looked at the relationship between shyness and language skills and did not find support for any of the four major theories purporting to explain shyness.
