Michelangelo Landgrave is an Assistant Professor of Political Science. He is the founding Director of the Barney Ford Lab for Civic Thought and Engagement.
He holds graduate degrees in Political Science and Economics. He has previously held research positions at Princeton University, the Federal Government's Office of Evaluation Sciences, and the University of Missouri.
He broadly studies American political thought. He is currently studying the writings of Frederick Douglass, Thomas Paine, and Booker T. Washington.
His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Political Analysis, Legislative Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and other top journals.
He lives in Boulder with his pet tortoises.
