I am an Assistant Professor in Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I study American politics with a focus on education policy. My research and teaching interests include race and ethnic politics, political behavior, policy feedback, and K12 education policy. I am particularly interested in the feedback effects of public education on the political development of children of color.
Previously, I was a Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University in the Department of Politics. I received a joint PhD in political science and public policy from Duke University in 2023. Previously, I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018.
