Safety Alert: Burglaries, theft reported inside residence halls
The CU Boulder Police Department is investigating multiple incidents, including burglary and theft, that have occurred in Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman residence halls in recent weeks. Today investigators determined that the same male suspect is involved in these incidents. Each time, he has entered the buildings between 2 and 4 a.m.
The suspect is described as:
- White male in his 20s
- Brown hair and brown beard
- Wearing glasses
He has been seen multiple times wearing a black baseball cap. Embedded in this email is a photograph of the suspect leaving one of the halls.
If you see him, please do not try to stop him, but call 911. CUPD will be increasing patrols in the area.
