Diana Salazar provides strategic leadership to the International Student and Scholar Services team and campus at large in matters related to international students and scholars. She feels privileged to be able to serve the approximate 3000 international students and 800 international scholars on campus. She oversees regulatory compliance as well as advocacy efforts in support of the university’s international student and scholar population.
Diana has worked in the related arenas of immigration and international education for nearly 20 years. She has worked both in higher education, supporting international students and scholars, and in the private sector representing clients as an immigration attorney. She received a J.D. degree from the University of Oregon School of Law and was granted a B.A. degree with distinction in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan.
In her free time, you will most likely find Diana on the soccer field, cheering on her children.
