Brief Bio: Amanda Bowden is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC), with a B.S. and M.S. in Atmospheric Science from the and , respectively. At CSU, Amanda conducted research on sea surface temperature changes and their effects on the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) in a warming climate using CESM2 with . Amanda's doctoral work at CU Boulder is supported by a prestigious . Amanda is a fierce fan, and may take some time adjusting to the pace of Pac-12 football.
