Director of Experiential Education

Seth Webb serves as the Director of Experiential Education in the Center for Leadership. He loves working with students and is passionate about experiential learning and developing leaders who can help organizations, communities and nature thrive. 

Prior to joining CU Boulder in the summer of 2022, Seth was the Director of Colorado State University’s Mountain Campus, a remote, high elevation (9,000 ft.) site for undergraduate natural resource, forestry, biology and environmental humanities field courses, K-12 environmental and outdoor education, a challenge course, mountain research and educational conferences. Over the course of is 20-year tenure at CSU, he also held the roles of academic advisor, education abroad coordinator, instructor, mountaineering expedition leader, adventure travel trip operator and assisted with program and course development for the graduate certificate in Adventure Tourism.

Seth grew up in Littleton, Colorado and received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism and his Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education with an emphasis in Outdoor Education from Colorado State University and is earning his Doctor of Philosophy in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources with a focus on Conservation Leadership, also at Colorado State University. 

In addition to spending quality time with his family, Seth enjoys trail running, mountain climbing, backpacking, mountain biking and reading non-fiction tales of adventure, exploration, and travel.
