  • City Council Member at Boulder City Council
  • Board Secretary

After 25 years as a lawyer and a telecommunications company senior executive, I was privileged to have the opportunity to retire from paid work on my 50th birthday so that I could better serve the community. One of the ways I do this is through service on the Boulder City Council, to which I was first elected in 2015. Along the way, I have had opportunities to serve in leadership roles for a number of organizations including Downtown Boulder, the Museum of Boulder, Chautauqua, the Dairy Arts Center, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Boulder Housing Partners, and Boulder Parks & Recreation. At CU, I have been a long-time volunteer and leader at the Conference on World Affairs, I periodically teach as an adjunct professor at the Law School, and I am a mentor in the Boulder-CU Leadership Program. It is my joy to share with others what I have learned about leadership through my professional and volunteer careers and during my life.
