Wesam is currently a Lecturer at the American UniversityÌýofÌýLibya. He has over fifteen years ofÌýindustry experience in managing and implementing infrastructure projects as well as asset management. His research exploresÌýopportunities in the areas ofÌýasset management,Ìýrisk management, life cycle engineering, change management, and infrastructure resilience.ÌýHis wife, Aisha, andÌýkids (Alhasan, Fatima, Alhusain, and Atika) are hisÌýsourceÌýof power and energy,Ìýsupporting himÌýduring all the challenges theyÌýface. In his free time, Wesam likes to discover new places around the world with his family and friends and plays soccer, basketball, and swims.
