Representatives from the Alumni Association surprised Professor Paul Gordon recently during one of his lectures to announce that he has been selected as one of three honorees for the 2010 Teacher Recognition Awards.
The Awards are the only student chosen awards for professors and have been a tradition since 1962. Prof. Gordon received the award for the 26-75 person class.
One of the students who voted for Prof. Gordon noted that he was 鈥渋ncredibly engaging and challenging.鈥�
Prof. Gordon will be recognized during the 2010 Homecoming Parade and during half time at the Homecoming football game. The Award includes complimentary tickets to the football game, to the Alumni Association pre-game party and a $500 award.
