The HR Blueprint Project is working to create a more equitable experience for staff and faculty by ensuring they have the tools, systems, and resources they need to grow and thrive on campus, regardless of role or affiliation. Ìý
As part of the Transformation and Financial Resilience initiative launched this spring by Provost Moore and COO O’Rourke, HR Blueprint is designed to transform our HR processes into a more unified, modern, and supportive HR system. The HR Blueprint Project team recently completed an assessment of our HR processes and systems and will now kick off a multi-year project to design and implement clear strategy, structure, roles, processes, governance, and technology for HR across campus, both in the units and within the central HR team.Ìý
The outcomes of HR Blueprint are designed to put people first and improve the day-to-day, tactical HR processes that support the people driving our academic mission. It is intended to build more strategic HR partnerships to provide better communication, cooperation, and service for a more accessible HR experience overall.Ìý
As we work toward these incremental system changes, it's important to note we will continue to partner with our CU System and peer campuses to explore opportunities for greater system transformation for our HR technology portfolio. The latter process will take time and will not be completed in the first phases of HR Blueprint.ÌýÌý
We invite you to review the project plan by visiting the HR Blueprint Project website and look for periodic updates in CU Boulder Today, as well as leadership updates like Provost’s Post and SRS Insights. With your engagement, support, and partnership, we are working to transform the work experience for all at CU Boulder, further empowering the university to serve students, create new knowledge, and advance the public good.
