Advisor: Professor AndrewsÌý•ÌýKim Jackson is a PhD candidate working on her dissertation, tentatively titled: "Freedom from Hunger, Freedom from Surplus." Her project explores the transformationÌýof American food aid and farm policy between the world wars.Ìý While at CU, she served on the Executive Committee for the Rocky Mountain Interdisciplinary History Conference (RMIHC) and as the Lead Teaching Fellow for the Center of Teaching and Learning. Kim earned her BA in history and mathematics from the UniversityÌýof North Texas (UNT) in 2016. She remained at UNT and completed her MA in 2019, writing her thesis on the Civilian Conservation Corps in Big Bend National Park.
