My German improved greatly. My understanding of different people, cultures, climates, history politics, America, etc. was greatly enhanced. I think it would be impossible to overstate the value of a year abroad. It was fantastic.
Regensburg was a wonderful place to make new discoveries and learn a new way of life.

It was awesome being a [Regensburg] exchange student and being directly enrolled in the Uni rather than being with a catered program. It was interesting to be there for a year and get treated like a normal German student rather than taking classes in English or being just an abroad student all year.
It was an amazing experience, I learned so much about myself, about other cultures and people. I really grew up in one year and it is something I will never forget and I am very passionate about and appreciative that I got to do this.
