Cirriculum Vitae

Elizabeth completed her B.A. at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies as well as Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in Art History in the spring of 2023.

For the past four years, she has worked as both an instructor of Russian language and content courses through Denver University and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. As a scholar, she engaged in multiple interdisciplinary research positions that explore diverse topics from the Space Race to Central Asian diasporas and migration in the post-Soviet space. Her current research interests include the early 20th century Soviet avant-garde, contemporary Ukrainian art and film, memory politics centered around the Donbas region, and Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School.

Since the summer of 2024, she has individually worked with Ukrainian artists and collectives displaced in Western Europe, studying networks of refugee artists. This timely work is informed and guided by her own cultural positioning as a Ukrainian-American. She intends to continue her career in academia with a focus on Ukrainian culture and art.
