Kylie is a 2nd year Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Engineering with the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Their scope of academic research aims to understand the behavior of disinfection by-products (a contaminant formed during water disinfection) in the distribution system and premise plumbing to inform regulations and protect public health. Kylie serves in the Rules and Finance Committee, originally from Portland, Oregon, and in their free time enjoys rock climbing.
