Karla is a 2nd year Ph.D. candidate in Learning Sciences and Human Development with the University of Colorado Graduate School of Education. Their research interests are learning ecologies, sacred landscapes, and the transformative power at the heart of interaction, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches. They are from Carlsbad, CA, and enjoy capturing energy in movement using various mediums, including photography, video, and sound recordings.Â
