- AEROSPACE ENGINEERING SCIENCES
Education: B.E. B.M.S. College of Engineering, 2020.
Bio: Shrihari is a PhD student at the Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at CU Boulder, working with Dr. Robyn Macdonald. He works on developing and refining high-fidelity kinetics models for gas-phase recombination of molecules, and investigating the role of recombination in hypersonic flows using these models. His research is funded by Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). Shrihari completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from B.M.S. College of Engineering, India, in 2020. He led his collegiate aeromodelling club, and worked on fixed-wing UAV design in the aerodynamics and stability divisions. Shrihari then worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology - Bhubaneswar, India where he researched heat transfer and ballistics on a grant from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India. He enjoys playing cricket and badminton, cooking and hiking. He speaks five languages, and aims to learn more.
