If you are interested in the water, sanitation and health (WASH) sector, here is an exciting opportunity!

First is the chance to participate as you are free on March 3-4, 2015 in the 3rd annual WASH symposium.Ìý This event, organized by CU students, brings in international experts in WASH and most of the Colorado based NGOs working in WASH for two days of debate, information, critical thinking on important WASH topics.Ìý This year's key note speakers include Clarrisa Brocklehurst, former UNICEF Chief of WASH, Ned Breslin from Water For People, Jay Graham, a global health professor from George Washington University, Jesse Shapiro from USAID and Blake Mckinlay from iDE to name a few.ÌýÌý This is a FREE event!Ìý In the attachment there is a draft of the symposium agenda (sheet named 'EVENT').ÌýÌý More info will follow.

Besides just attending the free event,Ìývolunteers are needed to help out with key tasks! By volunteering you will have a chance to work side by side with other students interested in WASH, and get a behind-the-scenes view of how conferences like this work. You may also have more access to the key note speakers from the Water For People, USAID, UNICEF, NGOs, former Peace Corps WASH volunteers, and consulting firms.

Consult this excel document (both in the 'EVENT' and 'TRANSPORTATION' sheet) for a list of jobs to be done.

Please, consider the opportunity and contact Laura Kohler<mailto:laura.kohler@colorado.edu> if you are interested. Note that there are both driver and volunteer positions. Please, be specific about which day and position you are interested in and note that if you would like to drive, you must have access to a car.Ìý These positions are first come, first served, so let us know ASAP!

We look forward to having you as part of our team!
