- During the spring semester, CU Boulder's space minor featured its first design course hosted by ENVD, How to Build in Space, led by Instructor Azhar Khan.
- From June through the end of July, environmental design students were sent out to design with a community rather than for a community.
- The landscape architecture studio will be collaborating with the City of Longmont’s senior planners and landscape architects to develop masterplan schemes for a future community park in southwest Longmont.
- Students in Instructor Emily Greenwood’s landscape architecture studio, have developed work for their first assignment.

- The City of Fort Collins contracts a handful of local artists each year to paint murals on electrical boxes as an effort to mitigate graffiti and to add public art around the city.
- Drawing inspiration and narrative from the design work of Ray and Charles Eames and the Powers of Ten film, students were charged with designing a cure for the Coronavirus.
- This summer, students in the intro to landscape architecture studio developed their sketching skills as well as a design intervention proposal for Boulder’s Central Park.
- This week, a final design was chosen for a networking and communications center, from Senior Instructor Jade Polizzi and Instructor Rachel Lee's intermediate architecture studio.
