- Thirteen ENVD award recipients were honored and recognized for their achievements during a scholarship luncheon held in the University Memorial Center’s Aspen Room.
- The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Program in Environmental Design has announced the recipient of the 2024 Environmental Design Alumni Awards. This year’s honoree for the Distinguished Alumni Award is Mark Meiser and the Young Designer Award recipient is Kate Sector.Â
- This fall, ENVD welcomes three new faculty, a postdoctoral associate and three staff members.
- Assistant Teaching Professor Jared Arp and Creative Labs Center Coordinator Kiera Cudmore spent much of the summer redesigning the remaining third floor studios while constructing new study spots, maker spaces and lounge seating on the western side of the building.
- With its bright yellow walls and large black lettering, the Community Engagement, Design and Research Center (CEDaR) in the Environmental Design building is hard to miss. But with a single door and no indoor windows to reveal the room’s inner workings, the mystery surrounding what goes on behind those walls is palpable.
- The Program in Environmental Design welcomes six new faculty to the design community in fall 2023.
- Over the summer, a hard-working group of faculty, staff and students spent months updating studio spaces in both the basement and eastern wing of the third floor.
- Established in July 2022, the Staff Leadership Team has been charged to work as a cohesive unit to lead, assess and support the program’s culture of development and engagement amongst staff, and will play an integral role in realizing the program’s core mission while working with ENVD Director Stacey Schulte, the Executive Committee and Executive Leadership team to support the goals and needs of the program.
- As we begin the new semester, we are excited to welcome new staff and instructors to ENVD.
- The Environmental Design First-Year Experience (FYE) Program launches on Thursday, August 26.
