Environmental Design held it's first spring open house on May 2, 2019, an end-of-the-year celebration exhibiting student work throughout the building. Following the open house, the People's Choice awards were announced at the student social, hosted at the Rayback Collective.

ENVD students help create Boulder’s first-ever child-friendly city map

Any parent knows that traditional maps are not designed with kids in mind. But a new child-friendly city map is helping kids learn how to navigate their way around Boulder, thanks to Growing Up Boulder, a CU Boulder program that partners with Boulder Valley School District and the City of Boulder. The map, and the event to celebrate the map, are free to the community thanks to the generous support of the Boulder Library Foundation, Boulder Community Health Foundation, and the Boulder JCC.

Fall 2019 Class Registration

April 1, 2019

As you begin registering for your fall 2019 classes, refer to this article when selecting your curriculum guides and ENVD electives. Don't hesitate to reach out to your advisor with any questions you may have. Between April 1 and April 19, 15-minute drop-in advising appointments will be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It is the time of year when student organizations and student government elect new officers. These organizations are a critical part of Environmental Design. They represent the student voice to the faculty and administration. They provide input on curriculum, space needs, faculty promotions and issues that the student body identifies as critical to the running of a department.
