1/8: Deadline to Apply for Kiewit Design-Build Scholarship
听is one of the largest construction and engineering organizations in North America. They听design听and build听projects across the continent, including transportation (roads, bridges, rail), power (including renewable sources), buildings, water/wastewater, oil and gas, mining, and industrial facilities.
Their new scholarship program听is intended to identify and inspire students to join this critically important industry, and includes enhanced academic and professional development opportunities, like internships, service-learning experiences, research projects and mentorship.听Students from marginalized communities within engineering and applied sciences including first-generation, veterans and those with financial need are highly encouraged to apply.
1/15: Deadline to apply for ACEC Scholarships
罢丑别听听will award several scholarships to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering for the 2021-22 academic year. The foundation听supports and promotes education in engineering in Colorado by raising awareness of consulting engineering as a career choice.听
To be eligible, you must: 听
- Be entering junior, senior or fifth degree year in fall 2021 (students graduating in December of that academic year are not eligible)
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be a full-time student as determined by the university
- Have an understanding of the consulting engineering profession
3/1: Priority consideration deadline for college scholarships
Starting this year, the College of Engineering and Applied Science will award all scholarships, including BOLD scholarships, through an application process. Everyone is welcome to apply! The application is now open in your BuffPortal page.
Scholarships are awarded with a preference for financial need, and you will have an opportunity to provide information about your individual financial situation.
In addition to completing the CEAS scholarship application, students are encouraged to听听(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or听听(Colorado Application for State Financial Aid - for undocumented students) application.听
