Apply for CO Science and Engineering Policy Fellowship

Apply now to join the 2021 class of the Colorado Science & Engineering Policy Fellowship.听For the past three years, the fellowship has given talented STEM students policy-making experience and a broadened understanding of the connection between STEM disciplines and lawmaking.

Over the course of the summer, each fellow will learn about the legislative process, conduct their own research project, and ultimately pitch their own legislation. While you're听conducting your research, you are also given access to leaders in government and industry.听

The fellowship runs for eight weeks from June to August. With the generous support of several Colorado foundations and companies, the program听offers a $4,000 stipend for each student鈥檚 living expenses and covers administration and programming expenses throughout the session.听The application window will close on听April 2.

Womxn of Color in STEM Spring 2021 Kickoff

The Womxn of Color in STEM Collaborative aims to听provide intersectional, interdisciplinary support for all students, staff, faculty and alumni connected to CU Boulder who identify as womxn of color in science, technology, engineering or math. It's a听unique initiative that is one part task force,听one part committee听and one part community circle. Meet and听network with other womxn of color in STEM听at CU Boulder, learn about upcoming opportunities and听sign up to receive a care package.

Engineering Immersion

The University of Colorado Engineering Council's听three-day virtual student involvement event starts today. During one-hour time slots, students will be able to talk to different engineering student organizations about what they do and how to get involved. Additionally, there will be a raffle where students can win one听of 10 $50 Amazon gift cards with each session they attend.
