The W+OCP is an organization dedicated to supporting URM/women+/BIPOC who are considering applying to graduate programs in STEM. We will host our free, virtual Graduate Applications 101 workshop on the application process and beyond on Friday, Oct. 14, covering best practices for applying to competitive programs while creating a space of support for URM women+/BIPOC. Beyond the one-day workshop, each accepted participant will receive opportunities for personalized coaching on their applications through the fall 2022 semester, as well as becoming part of a larger alumni community. We encourage anyone who is considering graduate school to apply!
Students: W+OCP plans to accept 50 workshop participants to this national program from all demographics; however, priority and focus will be given to competitive Black, Native American/Indigenous/ Pacific Islander, and Latina/x women+ applicants who plan to apply for graduate school in STEM fields in fall 2022 and 2023.
