This Building a Legacy grant collaborationÌýbetween CU Boulder and Tuskegee University pioneers a "living-learning lab" through design-build projects centered on socially and ecologically sustainable agricultural-land infrastructure experiments. The project is based in Tuskegee, Alabama, pivotal to Black history in the United States. The living-learning labÌýwill be developed collaboratively to meet the goals of the non-profit Harvest Dreams.

Students involved will receive $715 a month for 10 months for their participation, plus travel.

Since this is the second year of the grant, students chosen this year will be a part of our continuation phase, which includes developing the design and creating the larger vision of the living-learning lab and other possibilities through community engagement and feedback. By participating in this project, students will have a chance to:

• Develop leadership skills.
• Build community across institutions.
• Have a lot of fun!

The Department of Defense is interested in studying approaches to graduate education for the topic of hypersonics, whichÌýinvolves very high-speed air vehicles.ÌýThe Center for National Security Initiatives (NSI) at CU Boulder is seeking to hire three undergraduate interns who will work on three aspects of this problem:

1. Document the design and experience of a Graduate Certificate in Hypersonics that was established at the University of Colorado in 2021;
2. Survey other Graduate Certificate programs across U.S. universities in hypersonics and in other similar technical fields; and
3. Survey the Hypersonics workforce needs of industry and governmen
