Maureen has been an academic advisor within the College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS) primarily with undergraduate degrees and programs since August 2014. Maureen joined the Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences department in August 2017 as an undergraduate academic advisor and in August 2021, became the graduate program advisor for students (MS, ProMS, and undergraduate) in the BAM program.

Maureen holds master’s degrees in curriculum & instruction, science education and in counseling psychology from CU Denver. Working with students, faculty, staff in Smead Aerospace, CEAS, and the greater CU Boulder community is the highlight of her long career in education.

Abbie holds a BS in international studies from Frostburg State University and an MA in higher education from Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Abbie’s career began in higher education as a study abroad recruiter. After moving to Colorado, Abbie joined the Graduate School admissions team. Abbie joins the graduate advising team at University of Colorado after working with graduate and undergraduate students overseeing admissions, registration, tuition classification, and micro-credential administration. She finds joy in helping students navigate university systems from admission to graduation and supporting students directly throughout their educational journey.

Lydia began her education as a non-traditional student after serving in the U.S. Coast Guard as a first responder and machinery technician. She earned a BS in geology from the University of Michigan, where she worked as a peer advisor for undergraduate veteran students, helping them with everything from enrolling in VA healthcare to navigating veteran education benefits. Lydia joins the graduate advising team after earning her MS in experimental petrology from CU Boulder’s Department of Geological Sciences, where she taught classes on field geology and environment resources.

Deanne is an alumna of CU Boulder and earned a bachelor's with a focus in speech, language, and hearing science. She worked as an academic services senior professional for 15 years at the CU Anschutz campus graduate school. While at Anschutz, Deanne worked closely with students, faculty, and program directors in the Neuroscience and Integrated Physiology graduate programs. Deanne joined CU Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science in 2021. She has deep experience and knowledge in university graduate program administration, student relations, admissions, and academia.

Evan Chang

Bor-Yuh Evan Chang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. He is interested in tools and techniques for building, understanding, and ensuring reliable computational systems. His techniques target using novel ways of interacting with the programmer to design more precise and practical program analyses. He joined the CU-Boulder faculty in 2009 after receiving his Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of California Berkeley and his B.S. in 2002 from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a recipient of an NSF CAREER award (2010).

Dr. Levi Perigo is a Scholar in Residence and Co-Director of the Professional Master's Program in Network Engineering in the Department of Computer Science graduate program at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Prior to joining the University of Colorado full-time, Dr. Perigo was a Senior Network Engineer at ADTRAN Inc. In this role, he served as an escalation point for isolation and resolution of heterogeneous internetworking problems for major accounts. He holds vendor certifications in networking technologies in areas such as software-defined networking (SDN), network functions virtualization (NFV), IP routing, switching, network design, wireless technologies, Voice over IP (VoIP), and Internet of Things (IoT) home integration.  

Previously, as a Research Associate for the Open Networking Foundation, Dr. Perigo contributed to the creation and advancement of SDN and the OpenFlow standard. He currently holds a position on the MEF Research Council where he contributes with his expertise in SDN/NFV. In the classroom, Dr. Perigo has a passion for working with students and challenging them with interactive, hands-on, real world scenarios. His interests are in a variety of internetworking technologies such as network automation, VoIP, IPv6, SDN/NFV, and next generation protocols. Currently, his research focuses on implementation and best practices for network automation, SDN, and NFV. 

Dr. Perigo holds an MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University and a PhD in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. Some of his interests outside of network engineering include cycling (gravel/mountain/road), rock climbing (traditional/sport), and trail running.

Rajshree Shrestha

Rajshree Shrestha is the graduate program manager in the Department of Computer Science at CU Boulder. She holds a master’s in economics, social research and sociology and a bachelor’s in mathematical economics and is a Fulbright Scholar. Rajshree worked for women and children rights issues, specifically women’s inheritance rights and human trafficking issues, gender inclusion and justice in Nepal for a decade before moving to the United States. Rajshree started at CU Boulder in 2005, working with graduate students. She was the recipient of the Graduate Program Advisor of the Year award in 2018.

Meagan is a Colorado native and grew up in Louisville, CO. She earned her BA in Sociology with a Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!) in 2010, and an M.Ed. in Education and Human Resources Studies with a specialization in Career Counseling from Colorado State University in 2015. Meagan joins the graduate advising team at the University of Colorado with 10 years of experience working with undergraduate and graduate students in career services, academic advising, experimental learning, and student retention. Most recently, Meagan served as the Advising Help Lab Supervisor in Undergraduate Education here at CU Boulder. 

Outside of the office, Meagan enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and chasing around her two young children.

Daniel brings a wealth of experience in student success, program administration, and collaboration with students, faculty, and staff. Most recently, he served as the Academic Support Specialist for the online graduate program in computer science at Baylor University. In this role, he launched several initiatives focused on student engagement and instructor support. Prior to that, Daniel held various positions at the University of Dallas, where he contributed to graduate advising, academic coaching, first-generation student programming, and peer mentoring.

Daniel earned his M.S.Ed. in Higher Education & Student Affairs and his B.A. in University Scholars (with concentrations in English and French) from Baylor University. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, gaming, traveling, volunteering, and exploring hiking trails throughout Boulder County since his recent move to Colorado. His passion lies in equipping students with the resources and opportunities they need to achieve their educational goals, build community, and foster holistic well-being.

Adam Sadoff has a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from UCLA. Adam has a varied work history prior to coming to CU Boulder that spans medical research, teaching english to non-native speakers, editing, and course scheduling. His employment history ranges from UCLA, Jackson Memorial Hospital, to overseas tech companies in Taiwan. Most notably, for the past twenty-plus years Adam has been graduate program advisor for the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering. Adam has a deep history at CU Boulder, and has knowledge around precedents, procedures, and institutional history of CU administrative processes.

In 2019, Megan Varra earned her bachelor's in Sociology with a minor in Counseling and Social Change from San Diego State University. She began her advising career in higher education at University of California, San Diego as an undergraduate, general education academic advisor. She then earned her master's in Academic Advising from Kansas State University in 2022. She found her passion of working with students as an orientation leader, peer advisor, and other student roles in her undergraduate career.

As a professional, she finds her purpose by encouraging student self-advocacy and storytelling, empowerment through education, and community building. As a Colorado native, Megan is excited to be back home after seven years staying in San Diego and to breathe in the fresh mountain air. She began her career in higher education at Pace University in New York City as an undergraduate admissions counselor. While recruiting in New Jersey and Colorado, Bridget also completed her master's in higher education administration from Stony Brook University and graduated summer 2021. Bridget worked with graduate students at Harvard Medical School's Center for Bioethics from orientation to graduation. She oversaw admissions and advising while working closely with faculty to develop course curriculums, Canvas sites, and grading courses. Bridget now joins our graduate advising team at CU Boulder.

She worked at The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, where she managed master’s programs offered at Washington, DC, campus. There, she played an integral role in designing and delivering cutting-edge programing focused on finance, real estate, information systems and business analytics. Following her tenure at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, she joined the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where she managed programs for schools’ centers and institutes. Sanja’s multidimensional background includes an MBA from Fordham University, where she honed her skills in finance, management and business administration. Armed with a solid foundation in business principles, she embarked on a career focused on higher education and leadership development.

Formerly, Jax worked in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Oregon and Hawai’i Pacific University, where she pioneered acrobatics & tumbling, a new NCAA Emerging Sport for Women. Jax’s background includes a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Hawai’i Pacific University, where she developed her skills in academic and career counseling. Dr. Michael Gazarik joined EMP in 2022 and has taught the Aerospace Program Management graduate course and has guest lectured for a variety of classes. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987 and was a General Motors Scholar. He earned an M.S. in 1989 and a Ph.D. in 1997, both in electrical engineering, from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Fellow of the AIAA, is an industry board member for Astroscale U.S., and the Space Sciences Institute. He also serves on the NASA Advisory Committee for Technology and Innovation. Gazarik has received numerous awards, including AIAA Rocky Mountain Section’s Educator of the Year award, American Society of Engineering Management’s Engineering Manager of the Year, NASA's Outstanding Leadership Medal, a Silver Snoopy Award, one of NASA's highest honors, and was selected as a Distinguished Alumni from the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering in 2018. He was a leader in Scouts of America, coached and refereed youth lacrosse, and led the development of lacrosse programs in the Hampton Roads area.

Lindsey Morford is the Senior Graduate Program Specialist for the Robotics Program. She earned her B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University in December 2008 and her M.S. in Counseling and Student Development in December 2010, also from Kansas State University.
