- 1:15 - 1:45 p.m. Astronaut Scholarship Awards and Ceremony for chemistry and physics undergraduate student Emma Simmerman. Being presented by CU Alumus Astronaut Joe Tanner. Location: Andrews Hall. Open to the public.
- 4 - 7 p.m. Aerospace Tent at Ralphie's Corral. Location: Duane Field. Registration is closed.
- 7 p.m. Kickoff at Folsom Field

- Half time aerospace celebration at Folsom Field will feature VIP guests including bonafide astronauts:
- Chris Deel: Director of Advanced Programs and Chief Architect at Colorado-based United Launch Alliance (ULA).
- Rick Hieb: Flew on three Shuttle missions. CU Boulder aerospace instructor and graduate (MS AeroEngr鈥�79).
- Steve Jolly: Systems Engineering Director at Lockheed Martin Space Systems for GOES-R next generation weather satellite program.
- Steve Lindsey: Flew on five Shuttle missions. Air Force Colonel (Ret). Now Sierra Nevada Corp Vice President of Space Exploration Systems.
- Ann Smead and Michael Byram: whose generous contributions and advocacy of CU Engineering and the Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Science have strengthened Colorado鈥檚 aerospace economy.
- Rob Strain: President of Boulder-based Ball Aerospace and Senior Vice President of the Ball Corporation.
- Joe Tanner: Flew on four Shuttle missions, including a Hubble servicing mission. Retired CU Boulder aerospace instructor.
- The astronauts will be on air in the CU Buffs Radio Network booth during the third quarter.
