Other Summer Abroad Options
If GeorgiaTech-Lorraine isn’t the right program for you, there are many other options for studying abroad during summer 2021.
Most other summer programs have a March 1, 2021 deadline. Visit the CEAS International Programs website for a complete list of recommended summer programs and global seminars.
Study Abroad Timing & COVID-19 Considerations
CU Engineering recommends that you pursue summer study abroad after your first or second year of study. This ensures that the summer after your junior year is available to pursue paid internships in the U.S. that may lead to job offers after graduation. Including an education abroad experience on your resume can also make you more competitive when applying for internships and jobs!
While the COVID-19 pandemic is unpredictable, at this time, the majority of study abroad programs for summer 2021 and beyond are proceeding as planned, and France is issuing visas to U.S. students. In the unlikely event this program is cancelled next summer, applicants will be notified with enough advance to make alternative plans.
