Last Call to Study Abroad in 2020

Planning to study abroad this fall?听March 1 is the deadline for your fall semester study abroad application. 叠谤辞飞蝉别听programs by major, check for听, and听. Most of your scholarships and financial aid apply to the costs of studying abroad for a semester, and many programs are comparably priced to CU resident tuition. Plus, additional听听are available to help with added expenses听such as airfare, making a semester abroad one of the most affordable ways to see the world!

  • TU-Darmstadt鈥檚听听allows you to apply to an听听and work alongside a TU research team this summer. German language skills are听not听required!

  • , located in the heart of Madrid, Spain, allows you to undertake a research project for four or eight weeks; engineering and Spanish coursework is also available. Live in the heart of this European capital and benefit from Comillas鈥� excellent research facilities!

  • 听offers research projects in both Spanish and English through UniNorte, a top-ranked engineering university in Latin America. You can also pursue engineering, Spanish language, and H&SS courses!

Financial Advising for CU Education Abroad

Do you dream of studying abroad but don't think you can afford it? Think again! Drop in for advising on听education abroad scholarships to get help opening or revising applications, learn about scholarship opportunities, and ask any finance-related questions you may have. A wide array of scholarships and grants are available to support students studying abroad. Stop by at one of the times below to learn more:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 18: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in BOLD Lounge (Engineering Center)
  • Thursday, Feb. 20: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in SASC Lounge (FLMG 265)

Global Seminars

Last call! Study abroad with a CU faculty member and other CU students through one of the following Global Seminars. These are CU courses taught abroad over the summer.

Deadlines have been extended to March 1 for the following global seminars, which are approved for H&SS credit:听

  • Cultures of Activism (Dakar, Senegal)
  • Dante in Florence (Florence, Italy)
  • Identity, Arts & Ethics in Contemporary Norway (Oslo & Bergen, Norway)
  • Prague Past & Present (Prague, Czech Republic)
  • The Athlete as a National Symbol (Athens, Greece)
  • An Inside Look at the European Union (Brussels & Luxembourg)

Deadlines have passed for these global seminars, but a few spaces remain听for qualified students:听

  • Culture Wars in Rome: H&SS credit听
  • International Supply Chain Management (Singapore): EMEN credit
  • New Venture Creation in the Heart of Europe (Paris, France): EMEN credit
  • Urban Site Analysis & Design (Rome, Italy): H&SS credit听
