Years One, Two & Three
- Follow the聽prescribed AE course progression.
- Complete the CS minor foundation coursework and declare the minor. Information about the minor, and how to declare it, is available聽here.
Year Three
You will officially declare the global+co-op track after your fall semester grades post; you must have a 3.0 GPA to make this declaration.
Year Four
- Fall聽semester* abroad (multiple locations available: follow computer science study abroad recommendations here)
- Spring聽semester* co-op:
- You must secure your聽own co-op; CU cannot guarantee these placements but will provide resources and advising. Contact Claire Yang for more information.聽
- You are strongly聽encouraged to participate in a聽co-op for an entire semester and summer to聽maximize your exposure to industry (and your earnings!)
*You may invert this order and begin a co-op the summer after your third year and continue working through the fall semester; you'll then study abroad during the spring semester of your fourth year.聽
Year Five
Return to CU to complete all outstanding requirements for a BS in aerospace engineering sciences and a minor in computer science.
